Kitty's Choice Episode 1: Top 5 Coats for Spring

Hi everyone! As we transition into spring, I wanted to share my top five must-have coats of the season. Whether youā€™re heading out for a countryside walk, spending time at the stables, or just running errands, these picks will keep you warm and stylish. Here are my personal favourites and how I love to style them!

Dubarry Mountrath Wax JacketĀ ā€“ A country classic that never goes out of style. Its Versatile, you could wear for almost any occasion from a country walk, a day at the stables, or just running errands. Itā€™s sophisticated while also being practical ā€“ water resistant with Primaloft lining to keep you nice and warm on those colder days.

How To Wear It: Ā Iā€™d pair this with the Dubarry Kirkwood sweater in Chalk and the Dubarry Galway Boots in Walnut. I love creams and browns and I think that over sizes roll neck looks stunning under this smart wax jacket.

Holland Cooper Chamonix in Black ā€“Ā Whatā€™s not to love? Its like wearing a duvet whilst its sleek, flattering cut still gives you a nice shape. I love the gold hardware that matches my jewellery, it helps dress it up if you want to wear it out for an occasion. Itā€™s my go to on a cold crisp day whether walking the dogs, a day in town or pub lunch. The fur is removable so you can decide what kind of vibe youā€™re going for to complete your outfit.

How to Wear It: Iā€™d pair this with the Holland Cooper Button Knit Roll Neck in black and Black Jodhpur jeans and HC trainersā€¦.I quite often love being head to toe in black, I think it looks classy.

Holland Cooper Chartwell Parka ā€“ Stone ā€“Ā I love so many things about this jacketā€¦the colour, the feel of it, the hardware and the fit! This Parka looks so stunning on, the elasticated waist allows you to gather it in for a more fitted look or out for a more casual look, You can easily dress it up or down. Its just practical, lightweight and luxurious.

How to Wear It: Ā Iā€™d pair this with a Black Holland Cooper fleece gilet, some jodhpur jeans and the new black Le Chameau wellies. Again I love black and because all the hardware and lining in this jacket is black I think it ties it all together.

Schoffel Hurlingham Waterproof Down Coat ā€“Ā One of the only waterproof down coats in the country industry, this coat effortlessly combines style, comfort, and practicality. Because itĀ provides excellent warmth and breathability whilst also offering protection against the wet and wind, it ticks all the boxes from a practicality side. The fit and attention to detail on the coat is also a favourite, I love the thumb holesā€¦Iā€™m a sucker for these through the winter for that extra bit of warmth over my hands. But most importantly Schoffelā€™s reputation for quality means I can rely on the Hurlingham for years to come, and itā€™s a piece I can dress up or down, fitting so easily into my wardrobe.

How to Wear It: Iā€™d pair this coat with our Ariat High Rise Bridle Straight Jean, Ariat Wexford Boots in Java, Schoffel Dovedale Belt and a Holland Cooper Button Knit in cream.

Ridgeline Monsoon Smock in Bark -Ā The smock design is incredibly versatile, allowing good range of movement while offering plenty of space for layering underneath, making it ideal for outdoor activities like walking, country sports or helping Joe out on farm. I love their latest colour Bark ā€“ itā€™s just nice to have something a little different from the classic greens.

How to Wear It: It pairs so well with the latest Ginger and Jardine roll neck check Iā€™d also pair this with some Ridgeline Infinity leggings and Ariat Morseby boots.

These coats have been my go-to picks for the season, and I canā€™t recommend them enough! Whether youā€™re after a timeless classic or something more rugged for outdoor activities, thereā€™s a perfect coat waiting for you at Cheshire Country Store.

Which one is your favourite? Let me know ā€“ Iā€™d love to hear how youā€™d style them!
